Acer Aspire 6920 will be the launch of the range of notebooks in the United States. The new range of laptops have been designed to provide an experience of high definition. The new notebook is for the Aspire range Gemstone published in May 2007.

The new notebook is powered by the Intel Centrino technology featuring the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors. This processor Intel PM965 owns Express Chipset and module wireless connectivity, supporting Acer SignalUp with InviLink Nplify wireless technologies.

The latest NVIDIA GeForce GS 9500M graphics engine with up to 1280 MB TurboCache manages the screen. It supports NVIDIA PureVideo HD Shader Model 4.0 and Microsoft DirectX 10.

Besides the Aspire 6920 is equipped with a 16-inch full HD CineCrystal LCD panel with resolution 1920 × 1080 or HD CineCrystal LCD 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, response time of 8ms and native format 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen supports 33% more intense than the range of colors typical notebook panels.

The Aspire 6920 also has an HDMI port with HDCP. It also supports the second generation of Dolby Home Theater technology with powerful audio technologies such as CineSurround, Tuba CineBass booster, production and True5.1
