
Acer used the stones mark for a while to cover its more oriented systems design, such as Aspire 5920 and now is the extension of this brand with the range of blue stones. As the name suggests, this new line-up of brand Acer entry by offering Blu-ray systems. We have recently studied the Acer Aspire 7720G HD DVD-equipped system, and decided that, for the money that the system has provided a pretty decent spec for a very decent price, so Acer will doubtless be hoping to repeat the trick.
The Aspire 6920 and 8920G both screen sizes unusual at first glance, 16in and 18.4in respectively. Both of these chips, of course, offer nVidia PureVideo engine, which will unload Blu-ray decode the CPU to the graphics card. And of course, both systems have HDCP HDMI-output so that it can be connected to an HDTV, if desired.
