
Samsung has just launched its latest SWT-W100K portable players. However, it is far beyond simply act as a jukebox. The new PMP W100K incorporates fourth generation of Internet access feature, which makes it literally act as your PC.
Samsung new gizmo is one of the few devices that supports WiBro (AKA WiMAX as it is affectionately known in the West), while on the movement and retrieves data faster than some landline connections. It has a capacity of up to 13Mbps download and has enough download speed for high-quality video calls with an integrated camera front. The back-rear 2MP VGA camera and face-to-face-face camera. Its operating system is not yet known.
The SWT-W100K includes a companion in the car and Samsung supplies with a GPS receiver for mapping functions and a DMB tuner for capturing over-the-air digital TV in their homeland.
In reaching its role as a media player, the Samsung SWT-W100K PMP integrates 8 GB of RAM, a viewer MS Word doc and plays H.264, MPEG-4, WMV, XviD and video clips as well as many formats Audio only. The whole device is 15.7mm thick.
