What’s better than 11in or a notebook 12in? How 11in on a notebook or 12in encased in bamboo? Well, the Asus Ecobook who was spying last year for a T1 release is just such a machine. Although that date has now declined by June, according to DigiTimes sources, it is still locked bamboo as never before.
Nicknamed the U6 (12in) and S6 (11in), systems specifications are not mentioned but given the eco-friendly trends, it seems reasonable to assume that they will not be Powers. On the other side of it, and if the prototypes shown off last year are a good indicator, devices such as an LED that has changed between green and red depending on energy use - guilting users probably acting more environmentally friendly.
The production aims to be as affable as the environment maybe too, preceding the aerosol paint and electroplating. No inside solvents and other hazardous materials were used.

All plastics used are recyclable type, assuming that cases of bamboo not biodegradable, and when you spill coffee on the (trade fair of course) first. In addition to these notebooks, Asus also showed microcomputers in the same vein, but apparently did not intend to actually ship such a product.
Price wise the U6 and S6 are expected to cost NT $ 50,000 (that’s New Taiwan Dollars or £ 830-odd real money), which seems quite reasonable. Hopefully, the United Kingdom get a taste of the action of bamboo - but not in the sense panda.
