
We will soon heare some of the great music label EMI’s massive catalog, on our mobile phones Nokia.
EMI has openly revealed it is in negotiations with the mobile phone giant Nokia from its catalog of music offered by Nokia’s latest “Supplied with the music” program that will be available on some Nokia phones.
With Nokia’s “Comes with music” initiative, customers who have recently disappeared in a Nokia will be able to have access to a catalog of music to millions of songs. To enjoy music, consumers need to go in one year subscription.
Apparently, Nokia is in the works from the sale of mobile phones shipped with Supplied with music from the second half of 2008. EMI Finland head Wemppa Koivumaki expected that the music of his company would be in place for official “Comes With Music” launch in the second half of 2008.
“We want to be part of it,” maintained Koivumaki. “I firmly believe that when it starts, we will be there with an offering.” So far, Universal is the only label that is a part of “Comes to Music”. Apart from EMI, Nokia is apparently also in talks with other major brands of music to tell their artists to join the service. However, what is behind most of the labels detention is the only subscription model.
Interestingly, even after the end of subscription period is over, all the songs downloaded to the phone will remain exactly what they were. Even if a user plans not to renew the subscription, the songs will not be deleted. In addition, users can also transfer the songs directly on their PC. Music to get as much as $ 80 per device sold.
