Fujitsu May be a little behind the pack (Dell, Sony and Gateway, for example) in the production of a similar iMac, but my word, he did a good job of it. Really the only valid comparison is an aesthetic, and by that I mean that the Fujitsu FMV-A50 seems wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Not to say that the specifications are not at par.
The screen is a 16in with a resolution 1366x 768, a 16:9 format you notice May, making FMV-F50 decent proposal for watching movies. This is supported by elements, which include a 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo T8100 (a chip, however Penryn) 2 GB of RAM and Intel X3100 graphics, a bit disappointing but it’s not a machine games.
Elsewhere, a slot-loading DVD player, PC card slot and card reader are also presented as are a quintet of USB ports. Also on the front connectivity, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are sorted so no complaints.
Continuing this good design Fujitsu also took adjustable stand, allowing the screen (which is actually the entire PC) to be raised and lowered inclined - take note of Apple. Incidentally, if white, not cut, there is also a pink “limited edition version, which I think looks pretty good - though concern that probably says more about me that the paintjob.
Thus, the FMV-A50 looks good and decent specifications making it a highly desirable machine. As you probably guessed, ie no release date or price outside of Japan is yet announced. If you’re in the right geographical area, on May 17 is the date of departure, but the price is not mentioned.
Come now Fujitsu to sell in the United Kingdom. That is precisely what we want for our rooms and kitchens.
