Hewlett-Packard gets artsy, with the launch of the HP Pavilion dv2800t Artist Edition notebook series. The graffiti-type graphics (like ‘em or hate’ em) are from the winning design in six weeks Global Design Competition created by HP and MTV. The drawings are spread over the top of the laptop on the palm rest, and on the desktop wallpaper of Windows Vista, which makes it an attention-how notebook PC.
The HP Pavilion dv2800t Artist Edition weighs 5.59 pounds and has a 14.1-inch wide-screen display, Intel Core 2 Duo Penryn 45nm processor, NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS 128 MB video card, Bluetooth, a built-in webcam, up to 4 GB of RAM and up to 250 GB hard disk. Like many new laptops from HP, it comes with a HD DVD-ROM option and integrated HDMI port that allows you to view the high-definition content on your HDTV. You might want to wait a Blu-ray because this disc format HD won the war. The HP Pavilion dv2800t Edition Artist Series Prices start at $ 1129.99.
