HTC lifted the veil off the P3470 mobile smartphone World Congress in Barcelona. According to the company, its latest aircraft Quad claims to set “a new standard of affordable smartphone, the GPS-based devices.”

The main characteristics of any new HTC smartphone P3470 are:

3. Long battery life which claims to provide 350 minutes of talk time and up to 240 hours of standby time
4. 6 Includes Windows Mobile device
5. 1GB microSD card
6. 256MB Flash
7. 128 MB of internal memory
8. 2MP camera
9. Bluetooth 2.0

In addition, the P3470 integrates TomTom Navigator for 6 or AGPS-enabled satnav. Hoever HTC states that the software provided may be different depending on the country. In addition, a GPS antenna connector is included, enabling users to attach to an external antenna for better reception.

No signs of 3G or Wi-Fi appear.
