
A low voltage clocked at 1.6 GHz Intel L7500 processor, 2 GB of DDR2 RAM and a hard disk of 120 GB are the basic specifications. Two versions of the system, red and black, have either 5400 trs / min or a disc 4200rpm respectively, which seems a little strange, but who are we to question?
Graphics wise, a chip integrated X3100 provide enough grunt to run Vista Aero and not much else, but the U110 is not supposed to be an Alienware Area-51 m15x. Sage screen, the panel 11in has a 1366 x 768 resolution and backlight LED-hopefully improve the clarity, color reproduction and battery life.
Speaking of which, the U110 comes with a simple 4-battery, providing about two hours of juice. One option for extension 7 cells increases closer than eight hours. Despite the form factor reminiscent of the Sony Vaio TZ, Lenovo system is not as refined as a lack integrated optical drive.
Other differences include the price which sits at $ 1,899 (£ 962) for the U110 over £ 1,400-odd for the Vaio TZ. In the
