
Software developed by Adobe Systems Inc, have now been licensed by Microsoft. Flash Lite, which is the company’s award-winning Flash Player runtime exclusively designed for mobile devices, which allows web browsing Flash Player compatible contained in the Mobile Internet Explorer browser in future versions of Microsoft Windows Mobile phones, and THE Adobe Reader software to view Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) documents, including attachments, and Web content, will now proceed “under license by Microsoft” tag on them.
John O’Rourke, general manager, Mobile Business Communications at Microsoft Corp. said, “People want vibrant web and access to the experiences of entertainment and information anywhere, anytime.” Adding “Bringing Flash Lite player and the experience to Windows Mobile will give consumers more of their favorite websites on the go. ”
With the innovative Flash Lite 3.x browser plug-in for Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile Mobile, users can access the Internet and interactive rich content created using Flash technology from Adobe. Flash can control multiple rich and engaging Web sites, applications and animations. With Adobe Reader LE, users of Windows Mobile and be able to view and navigate PDF constantly rich content using interesting features designed to improve the readability of the document on small screens.
“We are delighted to work with Microsoft to add reading of wealth, web-based Flash Player compatible content and viewing PDF documents for Windows Mobile,” said Al Ramadan, senior vice president, Mobile and Devices at Adobe. “Flash has revolutionized the way we experience content on the web and we are delighted that Microsoft has decided to extend the experience of Flash technology for Windows Mobile.”
Adobe Reader and the Flash Lite will be made available for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide, which has allowed the Windows Mobile software.
Meanwhile, a few days back to Microsoft announced a mobile version of Silverlight that would not be out until later this year.
