The Nokia N81 is the central entertainment because not only does it play music, take snaps and let you watch videos, but it also offers preloaded with the new N-Gage gaming software
Strengths
Like many other devices in Nseries, the N81 is a great phone, but still managed to Look Pretty style, with its shiny black finish and design costs cursor. Much of the upper half of the aircraft is taken over by the large color screen. It is very clear and precise and has good colors, so is ideal for playing games or viewing videos on the built-in software Real Player.
This device was designed for use Nokia OVI new web portal, which is a sort of online supermarket, offering music, games and GPS maps, as well as a place to store and share photos from your phone. Unfortunately, the portal is not fully live at the moment, we can not give you the final verdict on him, but the section of downloading music, which is currently in beta, it seems that the well defined and easy to use.

Nokia has appointed three N-Gage game demos on the phone and if they are not quite in the same league as games for Sony PSP, they are rather a big step above the usual fare mobile game. With its fast 3D graphics, the game of course is particularly impressive. However, there is no guarantee that the N-Gage platform is proving to be a success, so we would not buy this phone on the sole basis of his playing potential.
What’s not in doubt is the handset’s music capabilities. You can transfer songs onto the phone via microUSB taken on the merits and thank you the mammoth 8 GB of onboard memory, there is plenty of space to store your music. As your songs are classified in the usual artist, album and track name categories, it is easy to find music that you want to play music and tactile controls directional pad, you can control playback without having to call the music application.
The supplied earphones are pretty decent, but if you do not like them, the phone has a standard 3.5-mm mini-jack so you can swap each pair you want, which is very convenient. The N81 is also stereo speakers mounted on the sides. They are surprisingly strong, although their lack of bass, they are still among the best we have heard on a cell phone.
The telephone connectivity is also important. It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and also supports HSDPA for high-speed 3G downloads. As you might expect from a Nokia mobile, the call was first quality and the rate of receipt was also strong.

Weaknesses
Unfortunately, the N81 is not without niggles. One feature that should have made a real standout among music phones has proved to be a great disappointment. You see, the N81 in the direction of the bloc also doubles as an iPod, touch wheel style. This sounds like a fantastic idea, but in practice, the wheel is barely usable because it is simply not sensitive enough. Nokia must have realized what he turned it off by default.
The phone is also very heavy and bulky. Its dimensions roughly correspond to those of the N95, but even if the N81 has fewer features than its brothers and sisters older, it is even more heavy, tipping the scales at 140g chewed an apple.
We would have liked to see a little better camera. Other phones in the Nseries have 3 and 5 megapixel cameras, but the N81 is burdened with a pretty pedestrian 2 megapixel snapper. Also, although the battery is generally decent life - you’ll get around four hours of talk time of it - if you really hammer the Wi-Fi and make use of music and video player, it runs quickly juice.

Performance
The N81 is an impressive phone, but not really revolutionary device that many people expected. It has many features and music looks like it could become a seriously good machine games the right software support, but it is slightly tarnished by the poor touch wheel and Chunky dimensions.
