Samsung has presented its 82-inch LCD TV panel at the Society for Information Display (SID) International Symposium. The massive LCD TV features ultra-definition (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution at a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

In addition, Samsung has argued that 82-inch TV shows ultra-definition (UD) resolution at 120 frames per second and reduces the confusion which is generally known at 60Hz.

“This 82-inch LCD is large enough to cover all viewing angles ultra-definition resolution and refresh rate of 120 Hz which will allow viewers to watch films as if they are really in them,” said Kim Sang Soo, executive vice president of the Technology Center LCD Samsung Electronics. “It is the best for the future of TV display.”

The television is also equipped with backlight LED red / green / blue raises real color saturation at 150 percent.

Samsung has not revealed the availability and price of this vast 82-inch LCD TV.
