Two light laptops have been set up by Samsung, which has given the portability of the world while constantly trot. Known as the Samsung P400 and P500, both compact notebooks have been developed to make the mobility of professionals because they must travel a lot.

Powered by Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 14-inch P400 and P500 come 15 inches in SuperBright non-glossy LCD screens to eliminate glare of ambient light, and provide crystal clear, ultra-high resolution for high-quality video. The models sport Protect-o-Edge design for a durable alloy case, the protection of-o-SoftGrip provide a protective rubber base. They also carry an anti-bacterial keyboard that is coated with nano-sized silver ions powder, and ultra-quiet mode for SuperSilent good working condition.

Both laptops run on the ATI chipset RS600ME, ATI Radeon Xpress 1250 graphics processor and PCI 54mm ExpressCard slot. They are also equipped with Atheros 802.11b / g Wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR regard, 3 USB 2.0, 6-to-1 (MS, MS Pro, SD, MMC, xD, MMC Highspeed) card slots, DVD Super Multi double-layer and audio speakers.

According to the specifications, Samsung will provide CPU, system memory and hard disk storage capacity. However, both P400 and P500, support 5400 rpm, 2.5 “S-ATA HDD. The P400 also packages security features such as Kensington Lock, Boot Up Password Password and the hard disk.

Samsung P400 and P500 notebooks are expected on the market by October this year. The prices of both laptops are to be announced.
