A announced at CES earlier this year, SanDisk Wi-Fi equipped MP3 player has arrived, and I was playing around with it for some time now. The first thing that struck me about this player is 4 Go that its Wi-Fi capabilities are actually useful. The Sansa Connect gives you many more sharing options that Microsoft’s Zune, all were built around a partnership with Yahoo. Find an open access point, and you can stream Internet radio Yahoo or browse stations Flickr photo stream. Sign up for Yahoo portable music subscription service, Yahoo Music Unlimited To Go ($ 12 per month for an annual subscription, or $ 15 if you opt for one month ’s), and you’ll be able to download individual tracks or albums of your choice over Wi-Fi I want to always have the option to wirelessly synchronize with my PC, but radio is a very pleasant.
In streaming Internet radio sounds very well on the Sansa Connect. When I used my home Wi-Fi, stations took a little time to buffer, but the quality of rivers was very pleasant, on an equal footing with 128 kbps MP3 files. I did not experience any dropouts - even when I had several other network transfers going simultaneously. And if you hear a song you wish, you can easily queue for download using the Zing menu button just above the aircraft flying right. I find it difficult to operate while trying to get the download function to work with my Yahoo account, I will have to account for it later.
The Sansa Connect 2.2-inch color screen is not quite as good as the display on my iPod or 5.5GB on Creative Zen VisionM, but it is not bad. The screen refresh rate is barely visible, which does count as a minor inconvenience. Photos, whether streamed to the device or downloaded, showed particularly vibrant colors.

Connecting the interface is a pleasure to look at, with colorful icons and fonts through net. Unfortunately, Connect scroll line takes a while to get used. Although it mimics the iPod clickwheel in physical functioning, the decision to put control at the bottom of such a modest-size device seems less than optimal. In addition, the wheel has a bit late, making your goal is exceeded in a list of songs all too easy.
Is the wireless worth it? A $ 249 for a 4 GB player, the Sansa Connect is not cheap. But with a MicroSD slot included for the expansion and the ability to pull down songs from any location, which opened an access point, the lack of storage device is not a big deal. As the first truly useful wireless MP3 player, Connect is sure to become a popular gadget.
