Sharp has announced the launch of the Mobile Internet Device D4 Willcom in Japan. Apparently, it was the first aircraft to be equipped with the Intel Atom MID and Windows Vista.

Apart from the Intel processor at 1.33 Atom Z520, the new Willcom D4 has a 5 - inch TFT screen, 1GB RAM, 40GB HDD, QWERTY keyboard. A micro-SD card slot and WANSEGU digital TV tuner are also incorporated in the Willcom D4.

In addition, the new device has mobile Internet options such as wireless and Bluetooth. Also a 2MP camera has been added to the unit and lends itself while traveling.

The Mobile Internet Device Willcom D4 measures 84×25.9mm × 190 and weighs 470g.

Willcom Sharp D4 will be available on the Japanese market at a price of 128,600 yen by June 2008.
