Sony has announced the launch of its HT IS100-home theater system in Japan. The system includes five golf ball size speakers. The cube-shaped speakers measure only 1.7 inches on each side.

Outside of five tiny speakers, the HT-IS100 system also includes 440 millimeters (17 inches) tall box amplifier and subwoofer. In addition, the system features 5.1 channels, three HDMI input.

In addition, users can also connect the system to a TV, Blu-ray recorders and even games consoles. This means that users can benefit from sessions Thursday with the new IS100-HT.
The HT-IS100 system will go on sale in Japan in July at a price of 90,000 yen. The system is also expected to hit North America and European markets. However, no details of their price and availability of information concerning, it is revealed.
