
Sony Electronics has announced two new “nav-u” personal navigation devices NV-U73T and NV-U83T. These cars in the portable navigation systems include features such as text-to-speech voice commands in real time and the ability of traffic as well as new security features.
Both navigation devices can be mounted on the windshield or dashboard because of the new Sony super suction cup that grips any surface uneven.
The Sony NV-U83T model incorporates another security feature in the form of Bluetooth technology allows the user to eth hands-free phone calls. With a microphone, drivers can use voice commands to launch calls via Bluetooth compatible cell phones.
The Sony NV-U83T navigation device sports a large 4.8-inch screen with a screen of 16:9. The screen also has an anti-glare coating making it easy to see the screen in any lighting condition.
The screen also offers a unique view of the double feature that allows drivers to navigate visually, but also zooms in and shows some benchmarks to help drivers make the right turns at the right time.
When the GPS signal is weak, the aircraft nav-u will always be able to retain drivers headed in the right direction. Another unique feature, called Plus location offers consistently more accurate positioning and the interruption of the free orientation. In addition to the GPS SiRF Star III chip, location Plus includes pressure sensors gyro and acceleration. The device uses these additional sensors to calibrate where drivers are safe so they can plan ahead and not miss running out of tunnels or between the two large buildings.
Another new feature is the command that allows drivers Gesture jump at the controls of a single button on the display.
The second Sony nav-u device is the model NV-U73T, which sports a 4.3-inch screen with a 16:9 aspect. It also features text-to-speech feature, the dual view feature, a super mounting system and suction gesture of command.
The Sony nav-u models of portable navigation NV-U73T and NV-U83T are available for $ 300 and $ 400 respectively.
