
About a month back, free Windows Vista Service Pack 1 Update has been published by Microsoft in five languages - English, french, German, Spanish and Japanese. Now, the software giant has announced the release of Windows Vista SP1 in 31 other languages.
Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional) and the Chinese (Hong Kong), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Norwegian , Polish, Portuguese (Brazil) and Portuguese (Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Serbian (Latin), Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish and Ukrainian languages are added to the Windows Vista SP1.
Windows Vista to the blog of the team, Chris Flores on behalf of Microsoft wrote: “Starting today, users can choose to manually install Windows Vista SP1 via Windows Update or download the installation program the Microsoft Download Center (x86 and x64) One of 36 languages. ”
The blog also mentions that Vista SP1 will bring some major improvements to the operating system Windows Vista, particularly in the areas of security, reliability and performance.
When Computer World has been in contact with a company spokes, with a set date for an automatic update, the spokes said, “We want to ensure that customers have the best possible experience with Windows Vista, including installation SP1, which has always been our priority. SP1 Up is distributed automatically via Windows Update, consumers are able to download SP1 manually using Windows Update. ”
From this we can conclude that users sometimes had to wait more than a automatic downloading, the hope for the near future.
Meanwhile, the installation program has also been updated to support all 36 languages and is available in 32 and 64 bit.
